The Trim Timetable
To maintain healthy hair, we recommend that you have your hair trimmed every
4 to 6 weeks. This helps reduce split ends and promotes healthy-looking hair. You don't even need to make an appointment, walk in any time. We're open 7 days a week 9-9.
After Shampooing
For maintaining healthy hair, it's best to blot your wet hair instead of rubbing it with a towel. Let your towel absorb the moisture to keep the hair cuticle healthy. By doing this, your hair will have ample shine and elasticity, which will give it a fuller, healthier and longer look.
Clarifying Your Hair
It's normal for hair to get some residue build-up, especially if you use non-professional styling aids that tend to coat the hair. To bring your hair back to its best, use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week instead of your normal shampoo. For the best possible results use Fantastic Hair Care Clarifying Shampoo – it's color safe and won't relax your perm.
Shampooing Colored Hair
Chemically-treated hair has especially sensitive needs. After shampooing, finish with a cold-water rinse. The cold water closes the hair's cuticle and makes it shinier. Fantastic Sams Color Shampoo helps to reduce the natural process of hair-color fading.
Shampooing Curly Hair
Right after shampooing, use a wide toothed comb or "pick" to separate the curls. Separating the curls gives your hair volume. To achieve the best curl definition, we suggest using Fantastic Hair Care Curl Defining Crème. Use your hands to scrunch or squeeze the curls into place. Never brush curly hair. Let it air dry or use a diffuser. For extra shine, apply some Fantastic Hair Care Spray Shine. You won't need to use a lot – just spray it in the air and walk through.
